Course Description

This course offers a conceptual and normative analysis of law. In the first part of the course, different types of norms are discussed. In addition, principles related to the establishment of legal norms are specified. Second part of the course focuses on the subjects of law within the context of normative legal systems. In the third part of the course, issues related to the legitimacy of law and of social order are discussed. In the final part of the course, a brief introduction to the basic principles of legal methodology and legal systems taking into account sub-branches of law is offered.
