Course Description

Bu derste kriminoloji kavramı ve tarihi gelişimi, kriminolojinin önemi ve görevi, kriminolojide araştırma yöntemleri, bilinen ve bilinmeyen suçluluk gibi temel ve diğer ilgili kavramlar dersin içeriğini oluşturmaktadır.

Course outcomes

  1. 01 Will be able to discuss the causes and prevention of crime in the light of different crime theories.
  2. 02 Will be able to evaluate the effects of different variables such as personality, biology, society, culture and economy.
  3. 03 Recognize and classify different types of crime.
  4. 04 Students will be able to express the current situation of criminology in their own words and will be able to develop ideas about which areas they should turn to in the future.
  5. 05 Will be able to critically approach the main issues in crime, criminal justice system and victimology.
