Course Description
In this course, the Turkish Foreign Policy from 1960 to present will be discussed by a thematic perspective, which will be accompanied by books and articles. Starting from 1960, International Dynamics and the internal dynamics will be analyzed in parallel; theoretical perspectives like Revisionism, Balance policies, Win-Win, Structuralism will be reviewed in the light of current foreign policies.Turkey’s current relations with Syria and Iran will also be highlighted within the framework of the migrant crisis and acession to EU: What can be the possible openings for Turkish Foreign Policy in its EU project? İs the question to be answered.
