Course Description

This course aims to examine the fundamental principles, institutions, and functioning mechanisms of European Union law. It provides students with comprehensive knowledge on the legal structure of the EU, the hierarchy of norms, the functioning of the internal market, free movement rights, competition law, and the protection of human rights. The course also covers the case law of the European Court of Justice and the impact of EU law on national legal systems. It seeks to develop students’ ability to think analytically, engage in comparative evaluations, and conduct critical analysis within the framework of European law.
