Course Description
The aim of this course; to teach the effects/side effects, interactions, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetic properties of drugs used in the treatment of different system diseases and the responsibilities of the nurse in drug applications; introduction to pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics; routes of administration and pharmaceutical forms of drugs; Drug toxicity, side effects and drug interactions (drug-drug, drug-nutrient); autonomic nervous system drugs; drugs of central nervous system drugs used in the treatment of infectious diseases other chemotherapeutics; cardiovascular system drugs; respiratory system drugs; endocrine system drugs; drugs affecting kidney function and electrolyte metabolism; musculoskeletal drugs; digestive system drugs. With this course, students will be able to monitor the effects and side effects of the drugs administered to the patient; educate the patient and family about drug treatment.
