Course Description
This course enables students to evaluate the effects of environmental factors on human health and develop approaches for preventing environmental health risks. The course covers the fundamental concepts of environmental health, including air, water, and soil pollution, waste management, noise, radiation, and chemical and biological environmental hazards. It examines the impact of environmental risks on communicable and chronic diseases, the protection of vulnerable populations, the reduction of environmental exposures, and sustainable environmental practices. In addition, environmental health policies, environmental ethics, individual and societal responsibilities, and the promotion of healthy living environments are addressed to foster awareness and encourage responsible action.
