Course Description

This course aims to provide students with the fundamental digital representation skills required to create two- and three-dimensional interior architectural projects within computer-aided design environments. Within the scope of the course, the basic operating principles of computer-aided design software, two-dimensional technical drawings, basic three-dimensional modeling, coordinate systems, layer management, dimensioning, and output preparation processes are explored through applied exercises. Students transition from analog drawing methods to digital environments, applying technical drawing standards digitally and developing fundamental modeling skills. In addition, emerging digital technologies that support digital design workflows and the application areas of appropriate artificial intelligence-supported tools are introduced to enhance students’ awareness of contemporary digital design processes.
