Course Description

This graduation studio aims to enable students to develop a comprehensive interior design project by integrating the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired throughout their interior architecture education. Within the scope of the course, students define design problems and develop original solutions by analyzing user requirements, physical and social environments, cultural context, and technical requirements through a research-based approach. During the design process, spatial organization, building systems, materials, sustainability, accessibility, and environmental performance criteria are evaluated together. Students express their design decisions through freehand drawing, digital representation techniques, and emerging digital technologies, while critically utilizing appropriate artificial intelligence-supported tools in research and design development processes. The course aims to enable students to produce a professional, applicable, and innovative graduation project that meets professional standards.
