Course Description
This course helps students to understand the most common Photoshop features and the techniques used in interior design applications. Visual Design with Photoshop course is an introductory course on projects, photography and electronic imaging techniques. Interior design students are expected to acquire basic technical knowledge of digital images including project and image developing, enlarging and paper processing in synchronization. An introduction to the graphic capabilities of a sophisticated full colour computer graphics system is also given. Using advanced "user-friendly'' software designed primarily for artists, architect, interior designer and graphic designers, students will learn to create art, project and design on the computer. Subjects covered will include computer Photoshop terminology, saving and recalling images on disk, digitizing a photographic image, and producing ``hard copy'.
