Course Description

This course aims to develop students’ technical drawing and graphic representation skills used in interior architecture. The course covers the preparation of architectural and interior architectural plans, sections, elevations, site plans, and application details according to technical drawing principles and standards. Technical drawings at different scales, dimensioning techniques, drawing conventions, and basic detail solutions are developed through practical exercises. Students create two-dimensional representations of three-dimensional spaces by applying technical drawing principles and develop fundamental presentation techniques. The course establishes a connection between technical representation methods and design studios, providing students with the necessary foundation for advanced digital drawing and modeling courses in subsequent semesters.
