Course Description
Space is not just a physical phenomenon people can use. There are many aspects of the human life which has direct or indirect effect of shaping and functioning one space. Culture is one of the most important aspect of a society that has direct effect on people’s life. Therefore, this course is about introduction to the range of research into manmade environment relationships which have implications for design disciplines; an attempt to understand the relationships of physical environment and cultural factors; theories, models and approaches and important concepts in manmade environment relationship; culture and Space: Basic concepts, privacy, personal space, territoriality, identity; home environment and culture; and field studies.

- P09 The student will be able to manage design processes, apply the regulations in construction, material knowledge, skills in 3D composition, and evaluate the spatiality of people and products by deepening the skills learned in Bachelor's studies and broaden their knowledge in spatial design and furniture design.
