Course Description
Supplying energy in an uninterrupted, sustainable and affordable way is one of the most vital area that every nation should justify for it’s current and future demand. Therefore we need to increase the awareness of our young generation on this critical area. The course will focus on: Energy resources, Fossil fuels; their worldwide geographical distribution, why it matters Energy Technologies, World Energy Outlooks, Energy prices and markets, Major actors of the energy scene, Main principles of a sustainable energy policy, Energy policies and strategies of principal actors (U.S., Russian Federation, E.U., China, Turkey), Eastern Mediterranean energy geopolitics The concept of “energy security”.
