Course outcomes

  1. 01 Describe Computer Networks, Networking hardware and provide basic usage scenarios of computer networks
  2. 02 Know and explain Network Layering. Understand two major network reference models.(OSI & TCP)
  3. 03 Understand network packet delays and loss problems. Knowing how to calculate network delays.
  4. 04 Know difference and usage network applications. Apply theoretical information to programming
  5. 05 Understand and explain different types of application protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3,IMAP and DNS.
  6. 06 Know principles of how P2P system is working. And discuss P2P related problems like Copyright infringement and security.
  7. 07 Apply theoretical knowledge to term project
