Course outcomes
- 01 Describe Computer Networks, Networking hardware and provide basic usage scenarios of computer networks
- 02 Know and explain Network Layering. Understand two major network reference models.(OSI & TCP)
- 03 Understand network packet delays and loss problems. Knowing how to calculate network delays.
- 04 Know difference and usage network applications. Apply theoretical information to programming
- 05 Understand and explain different types of application protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3,IMAP and DNS.
- 06 Know principles of how P2P system is working. And discuss P2P related problems like Copyright infringement and security.
- 07 Apply theoretical knowledge to term project
