Course Description

The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to learn special effect makeup, define special effect makeup materials, tools and equipment, add different dimensions to TV and cinema makeup applications, and gain the ability to apply special effect makeup on film and sets. The scope of the course is to define special effect makeup, the importance of special purpose makeup, the areas used in the sector, the cosmetic products that should be used when applying special purpose makeup, the application areas of special purpose makeup in films, cut makeup application work, wound makeup application work, face or skin burn makeup application work, 2 and 3 dimensional aging application work, changing the face shape with latex and gum cosmetic products and making it look like another 2 or 3 dimensional character are aimed to be done.
