Course Description
Basic concepts and terms in physiology. Functions of the cell, respiratory mechanics, oxygen and carbon dioxide transport and functions in the blood, functions of the heart, blood and lymph circulation, fluid-electrolytes, central nervous system, peripheral neural system, digestive system, endocrine system, sensory organs, excretory system. The sum of chemical phenomena in which large molecules are destroyed in small molecules and large molecules are formed from small molecules. Movement of internal or external electrical signal, hormone and gland to detect and respond to changes in the movement (all structural levels) = whole body as a organ level, cell level or as a component of the cell to be able to act, the cells or cells between the cells increase in number and volume, differentiation of cells for a specific task, formation of new cells or individuals.

- 01 1.Define the basic concepts related to physiology (2)
- 02 2. Expresses the relationship between the body's normal structure and functions (3)
- 03 3. Explain the integration of physiological mechanisms and relationships with each other within the scope of systems (4).
- 04 4.Makes comparison based on theoretical knowledge (4).
- 05 5. Evaluates the place, importance and usage areas of physiology studies in vocational education and training (5)
- 06 6. By understanding the normal functioning of the human body, it establishes a connection between abnormal functioning (physiopathological) processes (4).
- 07 7.Discuss the mechanisms that maintain homeostasis against changes between the body's internal and external environment (5)

Learning Outcomes
- L01 Relate the general regulation mechanisms and functions in the body. SOLO 4
- L02 List the function and importance of superficial, general and special senses in which the organism provides its relationship with the internal and external environment. SOLO 2
- L03 Explain the effects of hormones on both regulation mechanisms and reproductive functions in the body and explain the dysfunctions that occur if they are secreted more or less. SOLO 4
- L04 Explain how musculoskeletal, nervous, digestive, respiratory, blood, circulatory and excretory functions take place and how the relationship between them is regulated. SOLO 4
