Course Description
The course presents the effect of culture on the way individuals deal with the challenges of life, the psychological reactions, behavior and cognitive structures including scripts and schema. The course provides the students with the skills and know-how that are necessary to conduct research in different cultures and on different ethnic groups. The objective of the course is to examine cultural differences and similarities in basic psychological constructs such as attachment in the family, socialization of gender roles, identity development, individualism and collectivism, and emotional expressiveness. The course aims to teach students to understand and describe from a cross-cultural psychology perspective: social perceptions, social influences, and social relations.

Program Outcomes

- P02 2- carry out research on the development of their learners’ social, psychological and personal characteristics by using testing and evaluation techniques in accordance with ethical principles and then report their results.
