Course Description
In this course, the students who already learned the principles and evaluations related to quality and quality development, will be taught about the approaches including quality philosophies and systems. Among these approaches, Edward Deming and his Principles, Joseph Juran and his Principles, Philip Crosby and his Principles, Ishikawa Principles, Quality Management Awards, European Approaches in Quality Improvement, European Quality Award, ISO: 9000 Standards and Process Management will be included. In addition, the concepts of Six Sigma will be discussed and combined with principles taught, the measurements that should be applied in health and quality improvement and measurement techniques based on statistical foundations will be covered.

Program Outcomes
- P01 The students graduating from the program of dentistry will be able to describe the human body systems and functions and relations to the dentofacial system, recognize pathological conditions, list the preventive measures and express clearly their necessity and importance and act as competent, creative, and ethical practitioners who communicate effectively and view the human organism as an integrated whole.
