Course Description
Family Therapy course is an elective course in the program. family therapy, family theories, family types, premarital period, marriage period, family cycle, parenting, counseling in divorce process, family therapy process will be explained. In addition, basic counseling skills will be taught to familiarize parents with problems, to plan, implement, evaluate and improve problem solving skills, to develop hyphotesis about systems and develop systhemic thinking. In addition, theoretical knowledge will be applied in the course scope. Through these practices, students will have the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge in this area by acquiring the theoretical knowledge they have acquired about family therapies.
