Course Description
Psychological counseling process and stages; the definition and use of psychological counseling principles and techniques (rapport formation, reflection, content reflection, interpretation, encouragement, stereotyping, Socratic questioning, opposing reaction, confrontation, explanation, confirmation, sincerity, understanding what therapeutic conditions are and how they should be achieved, understanding the importance and function of basic and advanced psychological counseling skills, what are the client-related factors in the psychological counsellling consultation process; planning and creating interviews, knowing concepts about how therapeutic conditions can be made in psychological counselling, establishing psychological counseling relationship; what are the conditions for using basic psychological counseling skills, examining sample practices related to the topics covered.
