PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC INTERVIEW

Course Description

Case Formulation, Semiology, Interview Techniques, Ethical Principles, Theoretical Education. Historically, theories of psychotherapy are discussed. Psychotherapy theories are compared to general human and mind models, the focus of change, the position of therapist, the roles and responsibilities of therapist and therapist in change. In addition, current issues of clinical psychology, research techniques, evaluation methods, psychotherapy approaches, historical development, basic theoretical models and specialization areas are covered. This course focuses on psychological assessment at the individual level and aims to acquire knowledge and skills related to general and case-specific case formulation required prior to psychotherapeutic intervention. For this purpose, basic knowledge and skills about psychological evaluation and interviewing process are gained.
