Course Description
The course will equip students with the knowledge and analytical skills required to evaluate the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact of energy systems and efficiency measures. The course will cover life cycle cost analysis, financial metrics such as payback period, net present value (NPV), and save-to-investment ratio (SIR), as well as the use of software tools for comprehensive techno-economic assessments. By the end of the course, students will be able to make informed decisions regarding energy investments, balancing technical performance, economic viability, and environmental sustainability.
