Course Description

Apart from general economic knowledge, the health sector can have an understanding of the role of regulations on the functioning of the health care system in terms of economic analysis, competitiveness, the ability to develop a detailed supply and demand model of the health care market to anticipate the consequences of various possible changes in health markets, economic activities of the health sector, cost of health services, market types in the health sector, state intervention in the health market, economic development in the health sector, analysis, meas-urement, modeling and efficiency criteria in health economics systems, long-term labor force supply and demand of health, theories of economic growth, development and the analysis of the relationships between contractors- carriers in the health sector.
