Course Description
The course introduces the information systems to encourage the strategic management level of an organization. The topics covered in this course are: hardware and software components of an information system, e-business concepts and implementation, and a survey of common information systems used today, theories of management, communication and information resources, computer hardware and software and e-commerce and internet based business models are adapted to reach global based business environments. The course explores current Information systems concepts and technologies. Students learn how information systems give a business or an organization a competitive edge by providing technologies that help managers plan, control, and make decisions.
