Learning Outcomes
- L01 introduction about data, types of sampling, measurements levels,
- L02 students will learn the methods that data can be presented such as bar chart, pie charts, stem and leaf....frequency and percentage table
- L03 students will learn how to measure the data distributuin through the the measurements of central tendency
- L04 how to draw histogram without using compuetr software, the estimation of (sample) mean median, mode, standard deviation, root mean square
- L05 how to approximate the area under the normal curve, change of scale, percentile
- L06 variables, introduction to the chance errors, outliers, bias,
- L07 students will learn how to read graphs and plotting lines and points, slope and intercept
- L08 What are chances that an event may happen or not, coonditional probabilities, multiplication rules
- L09 probability and independence, binomial model
- L10 By the end of the semster students will be able to distinguish the type of data in terms of level of measurements, sampling, the measurement of central tendency, deviation and distribution and and chances of errors and bias. What iwould be the probaility of something happens and under what circumstannces and condions, is that dendendent on the occurance of another event(s)or not.
