Course Description
In this course, the Science of Nano and what is Nanobiotechnology will be discussed to understand the possibilities of using macromolecules in nanotechnology and also to understand the possibilities in developing functionalized devices. Later on, the potential application of engineered proteins in designing nanopore structures, structural principles of nanostructures to find examples on methods for diagnostics and bio-sensing; nanoparticles in biological labelling and cellular imaging: science of nanoparticles functionalization; techniques for physicochemical characterization of nanomaterials; applications of nanostructures in drug discovery, delivery, and controlled release will be explained.
