Course Description
Students will attend lectures on the theory and underpinnings of optical imaging techniques in bioengineering, including light, fluorescent and electron microscopy and imaging. Emerging techniques such as “optogenetics” will also be covered. Practical instruction will be given in the use of light, fluorescent and electron microscopes, with samples prepared by the students.
