Course Description

Information Technology & Design is designed to develop technical skills in terms of information technologies and processes used in communication design. It consists two aspects: theory, and practice. Theoretical aspect includes different types of technologies and medias used in the communication fields. Technical aspect of the course is based on project based workshops that will assist the students in strategies and techniques for selecting and implementing multiple technologies and medias in one project, utilizing object-based programing software tools for real time audio and video, real time 3D, network applications. It also covers the processes of collecting, organising, analysing, storing and retrieving, processing, transmitting and receiving, and displaying, as well as the technologies that support them.
