Course Description

In this course students prepare the graduation interior design project and be familiar with the concept of research that are used specifically in interior design discipline. The primary purpose is to make students to identify a subject, collect information and data systematically, make analysis and make a presentation on the findings. The additional aim of this course is to develop an understanding of making research and writing a proper academic paper. Another aim of this course is to develop an understanding of theoretical context of the interested disciplines such as history, environment, etc. transformation of these data into interior design knowledge. Case studies and site analysis will be undertaken and the understanding of architecture through structural and environmental determinants will be developed.
