HISTORY OF ANCIENT ARCHITECTURE

Course outcomes
- 01 Students will be able to define different approaches, architectural periods and the chronology of design solutions; and summarize the development of them. (2+4)/2
- 02 Regarding the exteriors, interiors and plans, they will identify the characteristic features and concepts constituting architectural approaches. (2)
- 03 They will define and classify the fundamental knowledge on the urban development and the buildings. (2+3)/2
- 04 .They will compare and interpret the architectural approaches between different periods. (4+5)/2
- 05 They will locate the basic knowledge of the designer/architect in the specific period. (3)
- 06 They will be able to interpret architecture and art in the socio-political context of their own period. (5)
- 07 They will define the development of construction techniques and materials. (2)
- 08 .They will be able to analyze and criticize an academic text; and relate it to the particular period in the given individual assignment. (4+5+4)/3
