MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY

Course Description

In the medical terminology course, students will have information about the history of terminology and introduction to medical terminology. Understands the basic principles of medical terminology. Medical terms; analyzes the root, prefix and suffix structures. Recognize, understand and understand medical terminological words such as radiological terms, nuclear medicine terms, clinical terms, laboratory terms, recognize the terms related to anatomical, diagnostic, operations and symptoms of body systems and organs. Understands the whole body related region, disease and disease symptoms in the systematic of medical terminology. Explains the importance of medical terms in corporate communication and basic terms related to human structure and terms that refer direction, plane and movement.
