Ders Açıklaması
Bu dersin amacı, protetik diş hekimliğinde estetiğin yeri ve önemini öğrenmektir. Öğrenciler, ağız içi restorasyonların ön yüz bölgesi ile uyumu, gülüş sırasındaki görünümü, dudak yanak çene ucu ve burun gibi çevre dokularla olan ilişkisini, metal destekli porselen restorasyonlar, tam seramik restorasyonlar, lamine uygulamaları, total parsiyel ve hibrid protezlerde diş dizilimi, restorasyonlarda kullanılan materyallerin renk üzerine etkileri, restorasyonların renklendirilmesi, yüz ve çevre dokuların birbirleriyle olan oranlamaları gibi konularda bilgi sahibi olurlar. Porselen ve seramik restorasyonların, ağız içi, dudaklar ve çene yüz bölgesindeki diğer yapılarla ilişkisi ve uyumu konusunu bilir ve uygular. Bu dersi alan öğrenciler, protetik restorasyon planlama ve fabrikasyonu sonucunda elde edilecek rehabilitasyonun estetiğini öngörme ve değerlendirme yetisine sahip olurlar.
