Ders Açıklaması
Bu ders öğrencilere tıp hukukunun temel kavramlarını tanıtıp, tıp pratiğine ilişkin etik teorileri tartışmaya açar. Ders, ayrıca, tıbbi uygulamada gizlilik ve maddi kaynak aktarımı ile ilgili hukuki sorunları irdeler. Daha sonra, tıbbi ihmal konusu üzerine detaylı bir inceleme sunan ders, tıbbi uygulamada dikkat ve özen yükümlülüğü standartları ve bu standartların sağlanamadığı durumların yasal boyutlarını inceler. Dersin ikinci bölümünde, tıbbi uygulamada rıza durumu konu alınır ve özellikle yetkisiz hastalar bağlamında rızaya bağlı hukuki sürecin nasıl geliştiği çalışılır. Dersin son odağı, akıl sağlığına ilişkin hukuksal çerçeve; kürtaj ve organ bağışı kuralları; ve ötenazi ve hekim destekli intihar konularında sunulan hukuki tartışmalar üzerinedir.
