Ders Açıklaması
u dersin amacı insan uygarlığının gelişim süreci içerisinde modern toplumun, modern devletin ve modern uluslararası sistemin doğuşuna ışık tutmaktır. Tarihte iz bırakan antik uygarlıklar, büyük imparatorluklar, ulus-devletin doğuşu ve 20'nci yüzyılın siyasi tarihi de dersin üzerinde duracağı konular arasındadır. Dersi alan öğrenciler feodal çağ öncesinden feodal çağa geçiş sürecine, feodal çağdan endüstriyel çağa geçiş sürecine ve endüstriyel çağda ivme kazanan küreselleşme sürecine dair bilgi birikimi edineceklerdir.
